Warranty

Your new home is covered by a comprehensive 1, 2 and 7 year warranty program. This warranty is in accordance with the Ontario New Home Warranties Plan Act and is administered and enforced by TARION. To submit any warranty-related deficiencies, please submit a Service Request Form via onni.com or through the TARION website at www.tarion.com.

Mandatory warranty coverage is provided as follows:

1. 12 months – Defects in labour and materials
2. 2 years – Defects on labour and materials related to the major delivery and distribution systems (electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation and air conditioning). Water ingress is also covered under the 2 year warranty.
3. 7 years – Structure of the building

TARION’s Construction Performance Guidelines for New Homes and Condominium Common Elements describes the required performance and warranty coverage for new homes in Ontario. We recommend that purchasers download a copy and save it for future reference.
