December 22, 2017 What a year it’s been! From reaching major real estate milestones to supporting community events, we’re heading into 2018 on a high note. But first, we’re reflecting on some December highlights in case you missed them.. Jubilee of Lights On December 4th, we hosted the first annual Jubilee of Lights Awards at Allwood Place. The evening was a great success thanks to everyone that participated and came out. Congratulations to the grand prize winner, who had hand-crafted the majority of the decor on their home themselves! The evening featured holiday treats and beverages while residents had a chance to get to know one another. We look forward to making this an annual tradition, and expect even more participants next year. Suter Brook Winter Festival [Source] On Thursday December 7th, we celebrated the Suter Brook Winter Festival. Always a fun-filled family event, this year was no exception. Guests enjoyed horse drawn carriage rides, visited with Santa, listened to live holiday music, and indulged in holiday treats. Thanks to the amazing community of Suter Brook Village that came out to participate in the evening! #OnniGivesBack Giving back has always been an important initiative for Onni. This December, we were honoured to support the Quinn Keast Foundation’s No Regrets Basketball Tournament. [Source] The tournament featured teams from all across BC and Winnipeg. The weekend was a great success, with several exciting games and friendly competition. Congratulations to the two winners who were each awarded a $500 scholarship, and good luck on your endeavours in 2018!
