West Vancouver Summer Feature

Just one trip to West Vancouver is all it takes to see what all the fuss is about. Bordered by the North Shore mountains and shoreline, and booming with several shops and restaurants, West Vancouver is a thriving residential neighbourhood. Centrally located within West Van, Evelyn sits atop Sentinel Hill. This prime location puts Evelyn within walking distance of Park Royal, Ambleside Park, and the West Van Seawall, with easy access to Lions Gate Bridge, the Upper Levels Highway, and Cypress Mountain.

Now that summer is here, it’s the perfect time to embrace the outdoors and take advantage of everything West Vancouver has to offer. Just a 20 minute walk away, Ambleside Park offers green spaces, beaches, a dog park, playgrounds, and Pitch and Putt. If you’re looking to get active, run or walk along the West Van seawall between Ambleside and Dundarave, or head up Cypress Mountain to hike one of the numerous trails. Another West Vancouver favourite is Whytecliff Park, an idyllic setting for a summer picnic or BBQ with scenic views up Howe Sound.

Directly below Evelyn is Park Royal, the second largest shopping mall in British Columbia. With two convenient footpaths that run from Evelyn to Park Royal, residents can reach shops like Whole Foods Market, Simons, Lululemon and Sephora within minutes. If you feel like dining out, you won’t have to go far. The Village at Park Royal is home to popular restaurants like The Keg, Cactus Club, and The Village Taphouse, while close by, the brand new Earls Ambleside Beach and plant-based restaurant Heirloom have both opened their doors just in time for summer!
